Born in Gaza in 1976, Maisara Baroud is a powerful visual artist whose black-and-white works capture the human spirit amid destruction and displacement. A former lecturer at Al-Aqsa University and exhibiting artist across Palestine, Europe, and beyond, Maisara paints that which words can not hold; grief, hope, resistance, and survival.
